Hey, how’re you doing? I’ll be uploading soon the results of our second PhotoPlayground challenge! Have you submited yours? I hope you did, and you had fun, and you’ve practice and trained some useful photography skills! I know these past weeks challenge has been a bit harder than the rule of thirds, but it wouldn’t be a challenge if it wasn’t a little bit hard, right? Practice and break your limits!!
As promised, today we’re starting with the third!. This time we’re changing a little bit the topic, we’re going to stop working our composition skills, and start working with people around us. This one I think is superfun and it’ll let us know a little bit more about each other. This time we’re going to grab a friend, or a family member and work on our portraits skills! If you don’t know where to start practicing, I am giving you a couple examples, and also you’ve a whole post talking about headshots and giving some tips on how to take them and basic tips on portrait photography.
Then, what do you have to do? Take a headshot of whoever person you want and tell us a little bit about that person! Who is he or she? What does it mean to you? Why had you chosen her or him? Remember a headshot is an specific kind of portrait, where only the head and a little bit of the shoulders are shown. So stick to that!
What do you think about it? Are you gonna give it a try? I’ve posted these examples of my previous work with some headshots, still I am going to keep shooting and create something new and better! I can’t wait to see your pictures!! Remember to post them on Instagram under the #PhotoPlayground3 hashtag! See you there, and remember that I will be featuring here the ones I like the most!
Lets go have some fun!
