2015 Resolutions

Happy new year everybody!! *sigh* I might be one of the few people who doesn’t like New Year’s Eve at all, because I never liked thinking much about what I have accomplished on the past year (for some reason never feels good enough) and I am always superscared and kind of a little depressed with the expectations for the new year. Plus, I am not a party animal so…

Anyways, this year I am going to stick to the positive and thank 2014 for all the oportunities it has brought me, among them, a little life compass on where I want to start directing my life and giving it some sense to it, which at this point is and feels amazing, even if still there’ll be lots of work to do and colleges to apply, and jobs to look for, and more hard work. So, thanks for that 2014!

Therefore, here are my top five 2015 resolutions (because ten is more than enough:

1. Learn little by little more photography skills

Right now I still have learnt some of the basics, I know how the camara works, still, on a really basic level, but I know I have a lot of hard work to do. So, I am going to improve and get more practice everyweek, and start keeping up with projects, and forcing myself into contests (even if there’re just Instagram contests). In plus I have discovered there’s a photography club next to where I live and I am so getting in. Networking AND learning!! Woohoo!!

2. Work harder and be less lazy.

I have a problem with relaxing and idling. I just love it so much, and it is just so easy to be lazy when you just have two minijobs, that are 3 hours in total a week… but to achieve all I want to achieve I will have to force myself to work harder. Keep on sending CVs to places I think it’ll give something more than money to me (good thing of coming back to mamma’s home), can be anything related with filming, shooting, marketing, social media, business… but I have to learn things that matter to me right now, and keep on reading blogs, and books, and articles and watching Youtube tutorials to learn all those things while I don’t get a real job.

3. Met new people

I am quite introverted, and I am a quiet person, and I live quite far away from the city center, and did I just said I am lazy? Yeah… quite a bad combination to be social and open up to new environments and people (at least at home, I am the queen of socializing when I move to other places, survival skills, uh? They’re quite amusing). So I am going to expand my circles and defeat my inner shyness when it comes to make plans and add new people to those plans.

4. Keep fit (or, being more accurate, get fit)

I hadn’t regularly exercice since highschool, I am in a terrible shape, like, seriously terrible. So I am going to work on my body, not for being hot, or for shallow reasons (even if it is also not a bad point) but for my own personal health status. I want to be able to run, and jump, and stretch, and lift midly heavy things, and stuff! I want to be fit.

5. Travel more

This is always on my resolutions, and is a crave is always on my blood stream. Get out! Travel! Move! Know places! Discover people! Talk to locals!! Aaaaaaaaaaaaah… the sweet, sweet pleasure of travelling. No idea if I will be financially able to do it, but I will seriously try so hard!

What about you? What are your 2015 resolutions? Do you have any advice on how I can accomplish mines?

Anyways, thanks for reading this, and have a lovely, incredible, and amazing 2015!
